About the Resort


	The Historic Hoover House is a wonderful place to stay.

Built in 1910, the historic Holiday Farm Resort served for many years as a stage coach stop. Vivienne Wright was the proprietor for many years and served President Herbert Hoover when he came here to fly fish and stay. In June of 2006 Darin and Kail Harbick became owners of the resort and renovated the Farmhouse Restaurant.

Today this secluded resort on the McKenzie River is an ideal venue for business meetings, seminars, family gatherings and retreats. The restaurant features a new full-service lounge/bar in the lower room, with a dance floor. Upstairs is a private room with a large screen TV, couches, soft chairs, a small bar, and plenty of charm to suit our guests' needs. Personalized service is our specialty.

The Hoover House is delightful and comfortable … with its own unique character and charm. Dinner is served in our Farmhouse Restaurant, open 7 days a week, and we have a full-service bar/lounge.
